- topic list
We did this yesterday (10.03.) after doing the listing technique we worked on topics. Like the main menu bar and what should be 'under' what. Similar to the listing with the small paper pieces, however now we could be more specifi about the subpages and subsubpages. Here are some examples of how we did it. It really help us to be more clear about the information amount we have to deal with.
persona
Here we post pictures of the persona that we are looking at when thinking about the client and the product we're asked to make. We want to concentrate on the younger audience, but still we have to keep in mind that there is a wide range of member in this particular club, also older people, who also should be able to understand and navigate through the site as easly.
drupal*
Drupal - mad house.
it's like playing cat and mouse. do one thing, it does another . do the other, it does something .. something.
Well, it went like that for some time. But as we know the secret for sooo many things is one like Jan says - practice, practice, practice. In this case we also need patience, patience, patience. That's how we got it to work, or to be precise - understood what has to be done to get it to work.
Besides working on that , we still strugle with blueprints. Kind of a have an idea about how everything should be, now it's more about putting on the site so it all looks as we have planned it to do.

MONDAY || let's get started ->
New project, new assignment. We made it clear for ourselves what are the things we have achieve during this project. This is the first project where we have to start to work from something that is already made - the kano and kayaking webpage (http://www.vkkc.dk/).
We started by exploring the existing page and discovered that there is a huge amount of information , a lot of it is repeating in different pages, like some links and contacts and more. Links to photos are thrown around the whole page and that was one of the first things we knew we want to change by making one section in the menu bar where would be all the photos put in to the according event list. We continued by getting to know the client and it's wishes towards the changes that should be done in the page. This page have to be easy to navigate, usability should be as understandable as possible, so we looked more closesly to how can we manage the amount of information to be easy to find and so everything is in the accurate places. We used the 'listing' tehniche to put the whole bunch of info together in a clear look. we wrote down all the the things they have on small list, each of them on it's own. then we made the main topics and tried to put each of the lists under related topic.
